Welcome to Osage Arboretum and Gardens

Visit our Spring 2008 Web Page

Osage Arboretum is located on the outskirts of Manassas, Virginia on several acres of Private Property. The field, trees, and pond support numerous wildlife like deer, fox, rabbits, turtles, ducks, and an occasional snake. Various types of birds, mostly robins, cardinals, and bluebirds, have been spotted making use of the pond and feeders spread through out the property. This web site is dedicated to the concept of a Internet Park Bench.  There are no advertisements, cookies, or pop up adds. This web site provides a place to stop and relax along the infinite Internet Highway.

Welcome to the garden walk. Osage Arboretum was patterned after the botanical gardens located at Florida Institute of Technology. Better known as "The Jungle"

The namesake of the gardens was derived from the Osage Orange trees abundantly located on the property. See the next two panels for illustrations

The garden walk starts at the pond path through the vine arbor

There are several places to stop along the way

Right after you have reached the pond, the arboretum appears. The arboretum hosts some 30 species of trees. If you get tired of walking, there are several pagodas and benches to take it all in and rest.

Would you like to know the weather at Osage Arboretum, click the maple tree

Maple trees are certainly one of my favorites

Throughout the garden and arboretum there are several statuary to look at and enjoy.

No garden would be complete without places to relax and take in the sights and sounds. From time to time, live bands play in the band shell in the sprit of good times with good friends.

The gardens and arboretum took about 15 years to construct. The garden covers approximately 2 acres while the arboretum covers 3 acres. Tiny in comparison to other formal gardens and arboretums.

Just our private place to sit and relax.  Please take a moment to enjoy the photos and the rest of the Osage Arboretum Web Site. If you have comments or questions, please write to;
